Poised For Life

Feel and look better by moving your body the way nature intended

Commentary on Wu Wei (non-doing) Taoism

to allow
a lively quiet back
to let
coherence come
avail
your self
of your own design
and fall up
to your true measure

leading bone and blood
limbs and back
expectant ear and
kindling eye
to harmonically conspire
in the pitch of your
resinous heart
that elegance unfold again
that a new dance start

Giving Directions

These are non-doing conscious, new instructions to ourself to stop the unwanted, habitual patterns of tightening.

Primary Control

There is a certain beneficial relationship between head, neck and back that when operating benefits the whole body.

This is the recognition that our 'felt sense' and interpretation of the felt sense are not the same - The teacher encourages you to allow new, more beneficial movements to happen even when, at first, they 'feel wrong'.
